Serbia and Azerbaijan convened to discuss the geopolitical landscape and energy security, according to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, following a meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Belgrade.
The dialogue emphasized the advancement of bilateral relations, particularly in the realms of economy and military cooperation, alongside Azerbaijan's role in EXPO27.
Vucic stated, "We confirmed the exceptional relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, based on mutual respect and cooperation on key issues," expressing gratitude to Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev for their support of Serbia's territorial integrity.
He reiterated that Serbia remains a dependable friend and partner to Azerbaijan.
Additionally, Vucic extended an invitation to Aliyev to attend the inaugural Strategic Cooperation Council in Serbia.
Overall, the meeting underscored the importance of strengthened ties between the two nations in various sectors, paving the way for future collaborations.
